The last official day of the winter season is upon us, which is an ideal time to prepare for whats in store for the future, and from the looks of it, through coming across the image and poem above which allows me to offer something good to you and provide exposure for it and credit the author simultaneously, we are headed in the right direction.

Think Ahead–> Move Ahead.
Its is the motto that I follow, yet it is also always wise to reflect on the past to consider what needs to be kept in the present and brought along to the future, and what is best purged and done without.

It is with this process that I set my new year/decade resolutions, and this entry is actually a progress report of sorts. I would most likely give myself and those who have worked along with us an A grade, yet perhaps its just due to a personal bias that I have towards myself, yet it gets good results so let it be.

Ninety percent of the things that we have set out to accomplish for the first season of the new year had been achieved, with the other ten percent left for reevaluation and it has been revealed through recent personal experiences, that when it comes to things, they either rise and grow together or disintegrate and fall apart.

Keeping this entry brief and to the point, the area of focus is as follows.

Become a part of a cause that is bigger than yourself.

It is up to each and everyone of us to decide what this entails and whether or not it works for us, so again, this is just a statement of what works for me.

For those interested in this type of news yet reluctant to let others in on your interest, I had the opportunity to view an inspiring segment on the Fox
Good Day L.A. news show this morning about the U.S. Pole Dancing Federation Pole Dancing Championships taking place in New York City.

After watching, I recalled that there is a PimpHop.com Exclusive article written about an around the way girl that is heavily active in this arena that can be viewed here.

Various mainstream news outlets also ran segments on the push to add
Pole Dancing as a recognized sport and athletic competition category for the next Olympic Games.

Of course, there are those who may be interested in hearing about what my views are in regards to this new phenomenon that is sweeping across the globe, which has led to the creation of an actual
Pole Dancing Academy, yet the time spent explaining would be better invested in supporting and demonstrating, as talent does in fact need management and worthy causes do need publicity.

Whats the good news?
On this end, it appears that we are coming at the game George Jefferson style, and moving on up!

Today, I decided again to let my fingers do the walking and since I now have the prestigious title of author to add to my resume, I may has well go ahead and elevate my pen and keystroke game to see where it takes me, yet the history books will show that while writing is something that I have always enjoyed doing, I am in this position as a writer through coincidence, as this online publication was actually developed as an opportunity for
other writers who do take it perhaps more seriously to have a platform, yet after finding so many individuals who were not willing to contribute, I was forced into a do it yourself position, and ojala, what you see is what you get.

The special on today’s menu is the subject of heaven and earth, and it was inspired due to a goal that I set for myself in 2010 and beyond, which is to focus more on subject matters that are of interest and relevance to the greatest amount of people, so if you have found yourself here, you have aided in the goal being realized, so much obliged!

Also, as I have stated before, I am working towards becoming more of a
fire starter in a constructive way, meaning getting these topics on the table for pondering and discussion while adding just a bit of my own insight, as I believe that in actuality, the person that knows the most is actually you, when it comes to you.

Heaven is one of those words that carries a lot of power, and can be interpreted in a variety of ways, yet no one as of yet, to the best of my knowledge, has come back with any credible evidence or has even sent a post card back or posted pics in an online gallery from their trip, so it leaves us to have to use our imagination, which is what resulted in the images above being used, found through a search engine query to find out what the common consensus is.

Earth on the other hand is where we all generally agree that we reside, or at least most of us, and the image above of the planet is from satellites and astronauts who have gone up a yonder.

I will simply state what I would expect to see in the time and space known as heaven, which I would use to ascertain my whereabouts should I arrive, because according to most of the stories that I have heard, we get to keep our mind and heart in the afterlife, perhaps for the sole purpose of perceiving where our thoughts, emotions and actions on earth have led us.

My expectations.

A. An absence of competition.
There may be some form of friendly competition, yet in regards to winning and loosing, if one is fortunate enough to have arrived in heaven, the ultimate prize has already been obtained.

B. An absence of a need for validation.
If one is fortunate enough to have arrived at and passed through the pearly gates, then similar to Disneyland or some other amusement park, your goal would be to enjoy yourself and all of the rides and other goodies would be afforded to any who had their tickets validated at the gate.

C. Order.
If everything is in place as I would imagine it to be when you arrive in heaven, there would be an absence of misery, despair, and need for repair, as there would be no malfunction or dysfunction which is usually indicated by a sign that reads.. OUT OF ORDER.

For some of our more religiously minded folks, you are correct in your assessment that the subject title is taken from what is known in Christianity as
The Lords Prayer, yet for the sake of this post, it’s more of a simplistic approach to the destination,because, as like all things in existence, whether by the hands of divinity or mortals, they were, are, and will continue to be created, which requires creators to act accordingly, so perhaps a
“build it, and they will come” type of thought process could result in something remarkable, and besides, we all have dreams…right?

Before you jump bad on the header image, let the record reflect that it is one of the highest ranking image searches on Google, so this Tuesday Newsday installment is definitely one to grown on, plus in all honesty, I think the shirt message is fly.

I almost talked myself out of posting any content today for reasons that I will explain later, yet I see my fingers moving on the keyboard as if they have a mind of their own, so let it be.

Facebook.

That is a popular word, and in actuality as you know, it is the name of a social networking website. It is in fact just a website, and perhaps I am able to perceive it in that way because I am actually employed at a website which holds the content that you are now reading.

I do tend to spend a little bit of time on the social networking sites, as they are flag points for this online publication, and part of my job description entails that I observe the ins and out from an administrative perspective.

What I will share with you today is an insider tip, which is that all websites actually do have an idea and philosophy behind them, and the one here at PimpHop.com is actually put out in the forefront while others are buried in the fine print and attract individuals who tend to more or less follow the crowd, unaware of the agenda that a website may hold for its users.

From my perspective, it may be a simple case of finding what I’m looking for, which is a part of being human, yet I cannot help but notice the amount of women and men in broken relationships when visiting most of the social networking sites, including the front runner known as Facebook.

I would distance myself on placing any of the blame of website creators and service providers as the facts reveal that an individual must choose to log on and pay attention to anything, including, but not limited to Internet websites.

This entry is simply to upon up discussion and provoke thoughts, and again, it sheds some light on the reality that there is in fact always something behind all things, so I will leave you with an valid question that I have been asking myself since the start of 2010.

Which is correct.
A. Dysfunctional relationships cause individuals to spend extended amounts of time on Facebook.

B.Spending extended amounts of time on Facebook are the cause of dysfunctional relationships.

My estimation of the popular response is that It’s Complicated,
yet my two cents say only if and when individuals decide for it to be.

I am busy as a B, and when I ask Y, they say “thats just the way you R“, so you can just call me R.B.

Just wrapped up a conference with my business partner, to discuss what ways we can bring the good time to you in the quickest and most effective manner, so I believe that this is as good of time as any to explain some of the methods of our gladness.

As usual, my personal methods are simple yet a tad bit unorthodox, yet at this point the way things are, many of you are willing to try just about anything..right?

Simply put, as a general and basic bottom line, my goal is to assist at least two people ever single day at the bare minimum, and it can be something as simple as offering a word of encouragement, or lending a hand in a small way to someone who may be in need, and I do this without thought of what I will receive in return, which is where the unorthodox part comes into play.

At the end of each month, that usually leads to no less than twenty six individuals assisted, yet since the orders from up top are to be fruitful and multiply, I then move towards helping twenty six people per day, that results in seven hundred and eighty people helped per month give or take a few.

As you can guess, it would be a daunting task to assist this many individual and even increase the numbers from monthly to daily as time progresses, yet thankfully, there is an easy way to do just about anything.

The beauty of this online publication and the Internet as a whole, is in the ability to help many with just a little bit. When we offer our support on the web or just in general, you will notice that it’s centralized, meaning anywhere from two to two billion or more can be aided with just one output unit, usually known to you as a post for macro blogs, or a tweet as a micro blog.

Yes payment is received, yet in a way that is contrary to what you might expect. I will say that it goes a very long way in regards to self worth and integrity to know how much of an impact you can and do have and proving it to yourself time and time again by being able to figure out the most complex of equations with the simplest yet effective methods with smiling faces as the end result.

Before we begin today’s proceedings, let the record reflect the truth of the matter, which is that this post was inspired by seeing the image above on one the social networking outlet image galleries for President Obama, and feeling like it was something pimpish looking that would fit in perfectly on this online publication as it is congruent all the way down to the color scheme.

This type of thinking tends to lead to correct decisions time and time again, and it will most likely all show to in fact be a numbers game when the big picture finally comes together.

The White House website seems to have taken the initiative to demonstrate this idea, and we at Your Friendly Neighborhood PimpHop.com will simply follow the leader and lend our support.

In regards to more important matters, I actually had the opportunity to watch a C-SPAN segment with Mitt Romney last week, who is known around the world as a heavy hitter in regards to big business and economics.

He actually had some insightful things to say before he turned his sights on Barack Obama and what he believes are missteps in his prioritizing of issues to be addressed and resolved for the nation.

The common argument is that while all of the matters on the desk and mind of The President actually matter, including foreign and domestic conflicts, energy, taxes, etc. the most important subject matter facing the nation is in regards to the economy and job creation, and that President Obama has placed healthcare reform at the highest level of importance, which is out of sync with his campaign promises. This has caused me to reflect on what my own personal opinions are regarding the matter.

As usual, I came to the conclusion that this subject has already been adressed in clear detail in June of 2009 in an entry entitled
Healthcare & The Economy -The Realest Talk.

I will read it at another time to see if my thoughts have changed any, yet for now, the question still remains which is

Can a sick person work efficiently and produce sufficiently?

In regards to being a head of state, I would agree with President Obama regarding the placement of the health status of the nation at the highest level of importance, yet this would contradict much of what the popular opinion leads many to believe which is that economic hardships are the cause of health issues and not vice versa.

I will close by stating that in my humble opinion, while health insurance is of importance, health ensure-ance is of the essence and the most effective method of reform.
