Sean Kingston, born Ka’Shon Anderson is the 17 year old Jamaican singer/songwriter from Miami, Florida; who in his music remarkably blends together the styles of rap, reggae, pop, and doo-wop.

Last year Sean tried to get a record deal by e-mailing up and coming producer, J.R. Rotem via Myspace an average of three times every day until eventually Sean’s persistence paid off and J.R. invited Sean to come meet with him in Los Angeles, Sean’s talent impressed J.R. and Sean became the first act to release an album from J.R.’s new record label; Beluga Heights.

Sean’s first single “Beautiful Girls” which samples the old hit, “Stand By Me” is quickly becoming one of the most played songs this summer.
