Moral Of The Story
Greetings Earthlings and T.G.I.F. (Thank God It’s Friday)
Before we begin today’s authentic conversation regarding the oldest profession in the galaxy, I would like to extend a shout out the the homie Rich for bringing this news about the proceedings currently underway in Spain to my attention, and making social media a good investment of time through associating with in the know individuals.
In regards to this particular scenario with the formation of a sex workers union in Spain, similar initiatives have been recently enacted in other parts of Europe, such as France, as seen in the image below,
as well as in Brazil in preparation for the June 2014 World Cup which can also be witnessed in the image below.
For the sake of today’s discussion about global economics, speaking from more of a “thinking out loud” position, it seems to yours truly as the author, that in parts of the world where prostitution is legal for grown ups as a chosen profession, where there is little or no social backlash for the choice of work, the women are more apt to use the web and its social connection services for the sake of displaying items on the menu that are actually available for purchase in order to market to potential paying clients, where as in countries such as the U.S.A. where prostitution is criminalized, along with the social stigma of what I consider to be hypocritical thinking and behavior, the women are more apt to use the social services to display items on the menu that are not available for purchase but rather to be liked and admired solely for the sake of increasing her own sense of self worth from the attention that her images attract, which are of items and services not available for purchase, but for visual appeal only (eye candy).
From a purely business standpoint, regardless of whichever way the online social services are being utilized, the services must first be created as well as administrated which does require mental and financial resources from the service providers to maintain, and in the name of profitability, which many services providers are seeking to somehow attain, it is the belief of yours truly that the most suitable approach to profitability is to cater such said online social services to suit the needs of the women who are themselves focused on profitability from their own service offerings and the turning of a buck, as well as the paying clients who are looking for attainable satisfaction that goes beyond visual displays only, from the items that they see being displayed in front of them on the online menu screen.
More simply put, window shoppers and those who cater services to them, while they may be in greater numbers and popularity, do not automatically lead to a profitable web business, as that would be similar to expecting that a large number of window shoppers who specifically came to a shopping center to window shop will lead to an increase in advertising revenues due to the fact that there is a high volume of non paying customers who only came to window shop to advertise products that are not available for purchase but only to be liked and complimented to.
Again, its just out loud thinking, and the consideration of workable global economic options.
