(T.G.I.M.) Thank God It’s Monday.
It happens to be a rainy one here in Southern California where it is supposed to never rain, yet even when it does, it can be refreshing like the “F5” button on your keyboard.

Over the weekend, I had the chance to back track and follow the advice that experts give when it comes to moving things forward, and that advice is to get down to the core essence of what is being offered and focus on it.

As of late, I seem to be finding myself creating characters and stories that revolve around attractive women and the associated lifestyles, and find it enjoyable, yet I then recalled that I do in fact have strong cultural influences to refer to, which may be contributing to this activity in ways that I was not previously aware of.

The story is one of interest that I invite anyone interested in urban culture to research, and for those who find it pleasurable to dress up as Pimp & Ho culture characters for Halloween and other occasions, I simply ask that you be aware of the value of the actual culture behind the themes that you are portraying as opposed to making a mockery of them, as there is a specific element that attracts many to imitate what they see in the first place.

In regards to this discussion and PimpHop Culture, what we are seeing is an emergence of individuals and namely women, who are in search of some form of notoriety here on the Internet and in the world at large along with some form of a worthy purpose to serve

The explosion of what has been labeled Internet Celebrity and Reality Television stardom has been shunned by traditional mainstream Hollywood professionals as lacking in authenticity and true talent, yet over the years, I have stood by my belief that the only missing ingredient in the equation for the majority is an actual script for individuals follow as a role to play in the game of life, which is interestingly enough showing up as a hybrid between online persona, and actual life.

The point of emphasis for this week and beyond is in regards to the alignment between what many would label as Pimp and Ho subculture and
Hollywood/Showbiz culture, and a relevant point to ponder on is the fact that the character and subsequent stories featuring Cleopatra Jones, are in fact the creations and intellectual property of Max Julien as listed in the writers credits above.
