Sean Combs:Keeping Busy and Making History!

Sean Combs, the Performer/businessman also known as; Puff Daddy, Puffy, Puff, P. Diddy, Diddy, etc. was recently named Time magazine’s “One of the Most Influential businessmen in the World”

Sean recently won the FIFA Award, (which is like the Oscars in the fragrance industry) for his best selling fragrance, “Unforgiveable”. Since the inception of the FIFI award in 1973, Michael Jordan and Sean Combs are the only two African American men to win this prestigious award. “Unforgiveable” was the #1 selling fragrance in 2006, beating out all other fragrances, both men’s and women’s, which is unusual for a men’s fragrance to do. Currently there is also a limited edition fragrance called “Unforgiveable Platinum” that is in stores now. “Unforgiveable Woman” is scheduled to launch in September 2007 along with the new Sean John Women’s clothing line.

Sean is also making history in television as an African American television producer with four shows that have new episodes all on the air at the same time and several more shows in development. Sean is currently producing; “Run’s House”, “Making the Band 4”, and “Taquita and Kaui” on MTV and “P. Diddy Presents: The Bad Boys of Comedy” on HBO.

Sean’s most recent album, “Press Play” was released on October 17, 2006 and has collaborations with; Christina Aguilera, Nas, Big Boi, Twista, Just Blaze, Pharrell, Brandy, Mary J. Blige, Keyshia Cole, Nicole Scherzinger, Mario Winans, and Keri Hilson.

On July 1, 2007, Sean will be performing at “The Concert for Diana”, which will be a tribute to Princess Diana taking place on what would have been her 46th birthday. The event will take place at Wembley Stadium in North West London. Proceeds from the benefit will go to charities chosen by Prince William and Prince Harry. Other celebrities scheduled to perform at the concert are; Kanye West, Pharell Williams, Nelly Furtado, Joss Stone, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Tom Jones, and many more. Check your local TV lisings for when the concert will be broadcasted in your area.
