Moral Of The Story (PH Global Employment Solution)
Well, you see, what had happened was…
Last week, while channel surfing during the evening hours, they were featuring this classic film Hustle & Flow on BET and it was around the last fifteen minutes of the movie, so I decided to set the remote control down to see if there was some type of subliminal yet relevant message that was being conveyed that I would pick up on outside of all the times that I have seen the movie prior, and at the end, there is a part where the character DJay tells the character Nola that she was in charge as he was being taken into custody which would be the beginning of his break time, and the start of her over time.
It was then that I concluded that as simple as it may sound, even oversimplified to some, the creation of actual gainful employment happened at the exact point in which DJay spoke it into existence, and Nola agreed with the terms and conditions of her employment, believing in herself and his words enough to manifest the end results that brought a happy ending to the story, and my own gut instincts lead me to believe that the “powers that be” who know about the power of motion pictures are re-introducing this concept to the public in the form of this Hustle & Flow movie, along with the current hit TV show Empire, with an oh so similar set of character circumstances to perhaps inspire some real life characters with similar traits and thought/behavior patterns to act according to this line of thinking and attain similarly successful results for the greater good of society.
Hustle & Flow (2005)
DJay: See… man ain’t like a dog. And when I say “man,” I’m talking about man as in mankind, not man as in men. Because men, well, we a lot like a dog. You know, we like to piss on things. Sniff a bitch when we can. Even get a little pink hard-on the way they do. We territorial as shit, you know, we gonna protect our own. But man, he know about death. Got him a sense of history. Got religion. See… a dog, man, a dog don’t know shit about no birthdays or Christmas or Easter bunny, none of that shit. And one day God gonna come calling, so you know, they going through life carefree. But people like you and me, man, we always guessing. Wondering, “What if?” You know what I mean? So when you say to me, “Hey, I don’t think we should be doing this,” I gotta say, baby, I don’t think we should be doing this neither, but we ain’t gonna get no move on in this world, lying around in the sun, licking our ass all day. I mean, we man. I mean, you a woman and all, but we man. So with this said, you tell me what it is you wanna do with your life.
