Was Mary Magdalene The Savior Of Jesus?

Luke 8:1-3
1.And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve [were] with him, 2.And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, 3.And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

Good Afternoon!
I guess you caught me in one of those inspired moods today, yet the purpose and benefit of having your own publication is that you can say what you will and get by with it by by pulling out your wallet and offering your
artistic license
to the officials, so lets see where we go from here.

In this day and age, with the type of lifestyle that I chose, or perhaps chose me, I find myself exploring the most innate mysteries of God, self, and religion or whatever the name of the category in which these subject fall under is and it is due to the fact that when in the middle of the ocean in route to Columbia(The New World) in a search for dry land, there is no comfort zone and sense of normalcy available for one to fit matters of faith into with a reliance on popular opinion and what is visible to the eye.

Interestingly enough, over the last decade, numerous debates in regards to religion and faith have surfaced with much of the new revelations challenging the common place belief, and it can be based on something as simple as the good old fashioned American Apple Pie Version of Christianity being rocked by widespread allegations of immoral and unnatural sexual conduct by established popular religion leadership figures.

In regards to Christianity, as I visit the bookstore around the corner in the shopping center, it seems as if capitalism is the actual motive of operation with the amount of products that are offered inside of the store, as in times past, all one could really hope for was perhaps a Bible and some Sunday School lessons.

Some more mainstream commercial bookstores seem to supply a demand for works that in past times were outside of the scope of traditional teachings yet the facts would show that just about every denomination of Christianity is an expansion of previous thought and I will go as far as saying that my own personal studies would point to Jesus Christ as something other than a Christian, but more of a practitioner of what we could describe in this current day and age as “Radical Judaism“,  so lets get into what it is that brought you here in the first place, which is the question in the title of the post.

The Gospels say that Mary Magdalene was a woman who followed Jesus, was healed of seven demons, witnessed the crucifixion and the resurrection, and was told to take the good news to the other disciples. She has been a popular saint for the last 2000 years, and has a rich history in art and legend. Recently she has become the subject of a belief that she was married to Jesus and bore his children.

That was an excerpt taken from an actual website dedicated to what is known as the Gospel Of Mary Magdalene, which is growing in popularity due to old concepts and legends regarding the story of Jesus Christ known as Gnosticism popularized by recent best selling novels and movie adaptions such as The Divinci Code.

In the way that codes go, I actually prefer to keep mine simple, so with
Jesus Christ being a enigmatic figure and his popularity as a savior for people in general and women in particular, as well as exploring my own interest in the concept of female superheros, with the information which is readily available and not buried in hopes that one may find it and miss the important parts which are hidden in plain sight, I would ponder as to whether or not Jesus actually on some level considered Mary, Martha, and the crew that followed him as his personal savior while on Earth to the extent that one of his followers that this entry relates to coincidentally has the same first name as his mother(Mary) as regardless of anything that may or may not have happened and changed in nature regarding Jesus Christ and his ministry, I believe that the one script at the very beginning of the book is time eternal regarding the very purpose for the creation of a woman in the first place.

Genesis 2:18

And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

In closing, since at the end of the day, it still shows up as a matter of showbiz and stories, we can use some artistic license along with some Hollywood effects, combined with New Media capabilities, and explore the thinking of this controversial 80’s video from Madonna to investigate the message that she was attempting to convey.

Was May Magdalene The Savior Of Jesus?

A different perspective to consider.
