Hope And Change- The Obama Administration First Year Reflections
|Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.
Barack Obama
Today is the celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy, and the day before the day which marks the first full year of the Inauguration of
Barack Obama as the 44th President Of The United States Of America.
Interestingly enough, one of the changes that appeared on his list at the end of his first year in office of Commander and Chief is the current crisis in Haiti, in which the world awaits some form of an official death and damage toll.
I felt that this was a great time to offer some reflection insights, to give this online publication and its viewers another valuable  function which is that of historical archive.
Even better, I will actually save most my own personal insight for another time, and act as a tour guide by creating the opportunity for you to conjure up and share your own reflections.
If need be, we can go back to the actual campaign trail itself, and recall
the ammount of excitement that was in the air, which I consider similar to what happens in the month of Decemeber of any year, where certain souls display a tendency of getting pumped up about the future , only to fail at taking any real steps towards resolution.
The most interesting historical change that I can recall is in the minor detail which shows that Barack Obama was the first U.S. President to be sworn in twice, once as a misstep in public, and as a corrective step in private, only without the use of a Holy Bible or viewing audience to act as witnesses in the swearing in process on the second go around.
Looking closely, Barack Obama did implement change from the very beginning, as by comparing the two events, some White House staff stylist or perhaps First Lady Michelle Obama, must have recommended a fashion accessory change, reminding The President, that it is never good etiquette to wear the same color tie for each oath of office proceedings.
You can add an enormous amount of data to the list of changes in the first full year of the Obama Administration. Enough to start your own website regarding this subject alone, from Health Care, to ACORN, to Birthers, to Nobel Peace Prizes In Defense Of War, to White House Beer Parties, and on and on, or even dedicate a whole entire cable news channel around the subject matter similar to Fox News, so as a media person, I can say that Barack Obama and his administration has created many jobs in this industry and all of its associated sectors, which is excellent news for me !
I will simply ask that we all pause the movie for a moment, so that we can tune in to some previous year event details which may actually help to estimate what lies ahead, or not be so shocked when whatever does appear shows up on the scene.
