Club Xes Hollywood

5 years, 31 days ago - By Rylan Branch

Well, its off to Hollywood, the place where we call home. The club is XES off of Cahuenga Blvd in the epicenter. We decided to make a night out of it by riding
around for a bit to capture some of the pimpin essence which makes this the place that so many people want to come to. We of course fell in
later than we were scheduled to arrive. Shit happens, its called CP time. Anyhow we got to the spot, line was thick, and the spot was
pimpulatin. We slid in through the front on some ole P Diddy shit, bypassed the line, slid up to the front, grabbed a ticket and proceeded to get in where we fit in.

The Club. Kinda Dark And Danky, yet Classy. Its a Hollywood thing, part of the ambiance, as most of the clubs in this area have been around since at least 1960 under various names. Anyhow we slid on in, and surveyed the scene. Some quality models, yet it was still fairly early in the night so we decided to parlay and mix and mingle a bit.

Spike TV After Party

This was the premiere after party for the SpikeTV video game awards hosted by Snoop Dogg with performances by Snoop, Pharrell, Ludacris and others.

After I walked through the doors (late as hell I might add), I was glad to hear there was an open bar and free food for all. The atmosphere was a lot better than I expected after about a year of wondering what it was like inside this normally Korean populated La Prive.

Five minutes into my stay I notice Don Magic Juan floating around with pimp cup in hand. Don and I chopped it up for a minute then out of the blue Ludacris hits the stage with his token loud and rowdy self. “Stand Up”, Luda shouts and the crowd erupts with screams chanting along with the megastar.
Unfortunately it was to crowded to get any footage of the awesome performances; Snoop, Pharrell, Ludacris and maybe some other folks but at this point I was drunk as f*ck.

Hats off to Spike TV for rocking the shit out of Le Prive, This star studded VIP only event was defiantly one for the record books.

Garden Of Eden – Hollywood CA

Back on the Scene, Crispy and Clean, with another installment of HotSpots. Tonights adventure took us to a place we all have desired at one time or another to be, yet as the story goes, got us human folks into a bit of a stink with higher authorities. The place? Garden Of Eden. The nightclub in Hollywood that is. The event tonight was the X Games After Party, hosted by Fireworks Productions. Arrival time as usual was late to date, just at the appropriate moment where all the commotion that makes the scene what it is, It was perfect timing, because we got to the club and fell into a sea of onlookers trying to get in to this event. I think we should create a reality show based on the popular drama known as the VELVET ROPE. Are you on the List? Who’s lists are you on? Oh that list is closed. Oh, so your Justin Timberlake’s Cousins hair stylists baby’s daddy? Ok well that list is still open, but no tennis shoes or un-tucked shirts. LOL. Its all part of the entertainment, and while it can be a pain and hassle when in the midst of it, it appears to add to the overall element of being trendy and cool, or better yet PIMPIN. That IS what the goal is right?

Door Lady… Miss Clipboard I think her name is, played her part beautifully, and was essential in keeping the cool element up to standards with the help of the red carpet groupies, next on the list celebs, and bouncers. It took us a hot few patient seconds to get past the gate keepers, and inside the club, as the athletes, actors, musicians, rich cats, and cool kids had first priority before the paid patrons, but its all mental, because why would any regular joe hoping to be somebody want to pay his or her hard earned money to be in the club with no bodies where everybody got in without being chosen?

We slid in and saw what we hoped and expected to find quite a few bad bitches. Yeah, thats what I said, and we can talk like that on this site… But, reality is, that’s the most essential element of the hot spot, at least from what we can see. What do YOU say?

A few Coronas later it was off to mix and mingle with the single exotic 1/2 Black 1/2 Indonesian 1/2 Belizian, i know it sounds Non Believin type women and other folks in the know. All and all, the night was quite a success as Fireworks put together all of the right elements for a Hot Spot Event, including but not limited to, plush venue, celebs and a-list crowd, cool staff, and did we already mention Bad Bitches? We give the event an over all PF rating (PF=PIMP FRIENDLY). Players, step your game up and get familiar.

Hall Of Fame Sub Shop

After a long night of drinking and hardcore clubbing on the Hollywood/Sunset strip, odds are your going to need to re-energize for the after party which will involve more drinking. Enter Hall Of Fame Sub Shop (corner of Hollywood & Cherokee). This spot, while well known to Hollywood’s “elite” and dedicated night creatures, remains a mystery to tourist and the night life newbie.

Hall Of Fame Sub Shop gained is fame and popularity because of its late operating hours, delicious bacon wrapped jumbo dogs (sorry Louis Faracon but swine is good) and tasty deli style subs. Another cool thing is you don’t even have to walk in, just walk up to the window place your order and 2 minutes later, you get your fix. Why would I wanna stand on the street and eat a hot dog you might be asking… well when you’ve got a bunch of intoxicated, sexy females club goers stuffing weenies in there mouths, its a sight, believe me.

The next time you leave the club at 2am hungry for more action and some food, remember the after party is at the sub shop.
