The New Twitter!

(T.G.I.F) Thank God It’s Freeday.
I was questioning myself in regards to what to write about today, and the simple answer that came to me was to write about what I am interested in, which is what is new and good in the hood.

Twitter has just unveiled its new website layout and timed it to drop before Facebook got around to launching their latest upgrades.

From a personal user perspective, there is just something pimpish about a two column layout that is easy on the eyes similar to a book or magazine and many of the popular social networking websites have began to follow this standard, which I first saw implemented here at
Your Friendly Neighborhood Pimphop.com.

It appears to follow a less is more strategy which keeps things nice and neat and keeps the focus on only that which is necessary and of interest to the viewer, and we all know that we tend to function more effectively when our rooms are tidy and in order.

From a business perspective, the new layout actually opens up space for
non intrusive advertisements and promotions which makes for a mutually beneficial relationship between the service providers and users with suggestions of who to follow based on your preferences and general areas of interest saving you the time spent on digging through the pile.

All in all, I have yet to find any person who did not like or appreciate a new pair of good quality shoes that fit, so in the name of innovations, I give Twitter a thumbs up and look forward to future upgrades.
