Black On Black Crime Is One Level, Yet White On White Crime Is A Whole ‘Nuther Level

Aurora ‘Dark Knight’ Suspect James Holmes Said He ‘Was the Joker’: Cops

By RICHARD ESPOSITO and JACK DATE

The man in custody for allegedly killing 12 people at the screening of the latest Batman movie in Aurora, Colorado told authorities after the shooting that he “was The Joker,” NYPD police commissioner Ray Kelly said today.

Kelly told reporters the suspect, identified by federal officials as 24-year-old James Holmes, had dyed his hair like The Joker. The Joker is a well-known villain in the fictional Batman universe. The attack took place at a screening of “The Dark Knight Rises,” the final movie in a Batman trilogy, following “The Dark Knight” in which The Joker was the principal villain.

This is one of those entries that I am hesitant to post due to the fact that it may seem insensitive to the tragedy that the story entails, yet due to the fact that in this particular case behind the scenes unbeknownst to many consumers of news content, the major media outlets are pitching the story in a way that blends the fictional Bat Man Dark Knight saga, and the factual real life tragedy saga into a combined whole for the sake of higher numbers which usually entail increased advertising value and revenues for the outlet, yet for us, this is from the heart and soul.

In the communities of Blacks, African Americans, Latinos, Hispanics,or whatever politically correct label for darkies is in 2012 for urban dwellers, there has been a history and long standing struggle in regards to what is known as black on black crime, and while crime itself has no color to it, the demographics show that the characters in the stories seem to fall under categories of color whether intentional or otherwise, yet the financial benefit from violence and theft does tend to shift towards those characters who provide law enforcement, health care, and funeral services again whether intentionally, or as a mere matter of circumstance.

The change that we are witnessing appears to show a decrease in crime rates in inner cities, which some say is due to the economy and its condition as there is less money available to kill, steal, and destroy over, while in suburban settings where there is greater financial abundance, there is also greater levels of catastrophic violence perpetuated by suburbanites on to other suburbanites, as the term urban is often a label and buzz word for African American, Latino, and minorities in general.

In closing, whether it is this most recent incident in Colorado, or a prior incident in the state of Washington, the mall shooting in Toronto Canada, Va Tech shootings college campuses, here locally in Southern California with the Seal Beach hair salon shooter, or the Arizona incident which left a U.S. Congresswoman amongst others as a victim, I would wager that as strange and oversimplified as it may seem, the cause of the conflict which leads these males to acts of these horrific levels of violence in the comfortable and safe suburbia settings, with innocent lives being disrupted, tends to be a simple yet deep and ultra relevant case of Girl Problems.

God Bless “The Living”.
