Ludacris and Tommy Lee Team Up For Battleground Earth

The Discovery Network has set out to introduce a 24 hour network fully dedicated to enviornmental issuses.The new channel is known as Planet Green, and is set to take full effect in the summer of 2008.

One of its premier shows is entitled Battleground Earth, which will be hosted by lengendary Rockstar Tommy Lee  and Hip Hop Megastar Ludacris.

The concept will be based on a Survivor styled Reality Competition show, which will feature each in a series of challenges involving important environmental issues , with the series converging at a Mega Concert in Hollywood at the Greek Theater which will be headlined by both of these Mega Stars.
Proceeds from the concert will be directed towards the relief efforts for Griffith Park, a historical landmark in Los Angeles, which was ravished by wildfires in 2007.
