Madonna Goes Out Hip Hop With Licorice?

Megastar Madonna is slated to release her last official album with Warner brothers by the end of April.

The album, entitled LICORICE , is said to be a primarily Hip Hop flavored release with many guest appearances and production work with some of Hip Hop’s most notable names, including the likes of Kanye West.

The release closes out her long relationship with Warner Brothers Music Group. After one final release of a greatest hits album, she will begin work on her new partnership with Live Nation, in a venture known as Artist Nation, which will combine all of her recording, performance, and endorsement deals under one umbrella.

No word as of yet, as to the OFFICIAL release date of the album, yet some of the songs from the album have been released online in the form of  Pre Listening Parties.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the Billboard story Rock Daily linked to for this post was later proved incorrect. “Wrong title. Release date wrong, etc.,” Madonna’s publicist, Liz Rosenberg said in a statement.
