as·set [as-et]

1. a useful and desirable thing or quality: Organizational ability is an asset.
2. a single item of ownership having exchange value.

The definition model says that organizational ability is an asset, so I can count that as yet another blessing afforded to me by The Creator and say in closing that while whoever professed the original definition of booty stating it as a desirable thing that is taken in an act of war through robbery and or other violent means, perhaps the age old adage that the pen, and now the keyboard, is mightier than the sword holds even more validity as they when effectively utilized, offer more cost effective and less asset damaging ways of acquiring booty in my humble opinion, such as simply writing a script or offering speech which would perhaps better persuade the holders of the booty to hand it over in order to attain more effective management of it, and add even greater value to it.
