American Dream

The American Dream is a national ethos of the United States, a set of ideals in which freedom includes the opportunity for prosperity and success, and an upward social mobility achieved through hard work. In the definition of the American Dream by James Truslow Adams in 1931, “life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement” regardless of social class or circumstances of birth.

The idea of the American Dream is rooted in the United States Declaration of Independence which proclaims that “all men are created equal” and that they are “endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights” including “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Moral of the story

It is simple and easy.

In the year 2011, yours truly as the author of this article posted an image with the statement as seen above in the header screenshot image, on the Facebook profile of a female entrepreneur that was in the picture at that time, and still until this day of Saturday December 14, 2013, it is still receiving numerous Facebook likes, as we can conclude that her newly accepted friends agree with the sentiment.

As it sometimes happens in Hollywood, the script is solid, yet the talent is simply not the right fit for the role, yet since job creation and the rebuilding of the U.S. economy is priority numero uno, the decision has been made to revisit the concept due to its lasting popularity and demand, and we can now begin the work of filling up the empty seats with the correct bottoms.
