Whats the good news?
Even I myself sometimes forget the number of states in The U.S.A. yet this new state actually appears to be a global one due to recent and reoccurring world events.

I actually have an interesting story to tell, amongst many, yet this one is still fresh as it occurred within the last 2 hours.

While on my daily trip to 7-Eleven before I begin my day, when I was coming back home, I was at the light waiting to cross, and heard a loud crash within the immediate vicinity.

When I looked up to see where it came from I noticed that a car in the middle lane had rear ended the car in front of it while stopped at the red light.

It was more than a simple fender bender, but more like a bender goner as the whole front end of the trailing car had fallen to the ground, leaving the back end of the car in front with at least a foot and a half less of trunk space.

Then the light turned green to cross, yet I spent a few moments to watch the scene unfold as did others who were in the area traffic on foot and in vehicle.

The first person out of the vehicle was a middle aged man in business attire after about 20 second to asses the damage. The passengers in the vehicle that was rear ended were a woman driver, and high school aged girl as the passenger.

After a few moments of shock, the girl in the passenger seat hops out of the vehicle in a state of shock and confusion, and I put together that they were most likely headed to the high school around 2 miles down the street to drop her off, as she had on her school athletic attire.

The juicy part of the story if it has been dry for you thus far, is how the girl began to sob, and grab the back of her neck as if she was in pain for everyone to witness. This is not something that I found amusement in or bewilderment by, yet the most important detail that I recorded is how ordinarily, you would expect for her to have a free hand, yet the one thing that did not get interrupted in the accident is her fingers pushing the buttons on her mobile phone as she was actually on the phone immediately after the accident, and was in just enough of a functional condition to text message or update her social networking profile to let the people on her network line in on the action via text messaging.

It may have actually been her calling 911 emergency response, yet I am not sure if they have a text or email option for emergency responses, as the whole entire time, even when they finally moved the vehicles into the near by In-N-Out parking lot with her walking on the sidewalk while sobbing and in shock, I did not see her speaking to anyone on her phone or a wireless headset attached to her ear.

I will let you fill in the blanks for your own assessment, and just add some insight in regards to how much emphasis has been placed on the ability that websites and mobile devices have to bring awareness to an actual emergency or rumors of a possible or expected emergency, as opposed to the details and needs of the individuals involved in the emergency, unless of course, the needs for those involved in the emergency are to gain some extra love and attention via YouTube, Twitter, Myspace, and Facebook.
