Swingtown- Sex, Drugs, and Disco

Well Well.
Sex , Sex, and More Sex with a line from Jesus used as a selling point slogan?

You know you have a Hot Ticket on your hands when the network that broadcasts the show receives bundles of protest letters from watchdog groups BEFORE the show even hits the airwaves, which is the exact same set of scenarios in place in regards to the new CBS lineup entitled SWINGTOWN, which is scheduled to premiere tonight (June 5, 2008).

With the success of past series of such a nature such as Sex and The City and Desperate Housewives, I would predict that this new series will do the trick so to speak in regards to a ratings boost for the network.

The series plot is somewhat of a combination of Sex In The City and That 70’s Show, which showcases the lives of swinging singles and couples during the 70’s era.
Plenty of weed, plenty of coke, plenty of liquor , plenty of pills, plenty of sex, and if the writing is up to par, plenty of DRAMA which usually is a byproduct of certain types of alternative lifestyles.

The only thing left out of this scenario as with other shows is the PIMP factor, as someone in the plot is sure to always have business interests in regards to needs being served as Starsky and Hutch needed their Huggy Bear, so I invite viewers to check in tonight to see what all of the fuss is about, and draw your own conclusions as to whether or not it is a hit or miss.
