Again, checking in to Good Day L.A. to see what Jillian was talking about, we all appeared to have started our day off with a large smoke cloud which appeared to be in the vicinity of Hollywood.
Behold, not only was there a fire this morning, it happened to be at the popular nightspot Basque.
I actually receive flyers each week for events at this location, and it is definitely NOT a good look for the game for this location to burn away.
The re gentrification process in Hollywood Central is in full swing, and the last thing needed is for it to go up in smoke.
Perhaps its simply a clearing away of the old to make room for the new.
For those not quite as familiar with the area, the cross streets of Hollywood & Vine actually act as a center point for many of Hollywood’s historic landmarks as well as traditions and is shrouded in mystery like most of Hollywood due to the large number of paranormal happenings in the area.
We will keep you posted with details as they surface.
To let you in on why this scenario holds special significance to me, below if a video of myself and the crew in action no more than the distance of a football field from the location of discussion.

To add to this scenario, the day of the event was actually a RAINY ONE, which has only happened a few times in the History of the Ceremony which started in 1929 at the Roosevelt Hotel, in Hollywood California (Hollywood Blvd & Orange Street).

I love my job!
Today, I thought that it would be good for you to share in some of the types of wonderful submissions that I may receive on a continuous basis.
Now granted, this is actually most likely fictional, and from what I know about the World Wide Web, this is simply a new twist on a popular web con game known as the NIGERIAN LETTER.
If you have had a chance to look at some of your spam mail, which motivates you to find some form of a filter, you probably have received a note or two regarding someone asking you for assistance with transferring funds to a secure location, from a member of some wealthy and influential African public official, member of a royal family , or perhaps one of their relatives.
Who Knows, it could be B-Rock Obama’s People!
Actually, I know some individuals who hold a unique belief, which is that quite a few of the SPAM NOTICES that you may receive are actually AUTHENTIC, where as a majority of the legit mail that you may receive actually will turn out to be BOGUS.
It can be called the ABSENCE OF TRUTH IN SOCIETY theory, yet whatever it is, it makes for great entertainment in a time where much of what we see and hear tends to be uninteresting and redundant.
So, below you will find a note that I received in my personal email box yesterday, and now the Nigerian Letters appear to come attached with some pictures of the young ladies that are sending the note.
An even deeper thought is that since it has been stated that it ALL comes from Africa anyway, perhaps the thought process which fuels this organization originates from the same source.
Be what it may, I’ll share it with you.

On the market currently from Steve Jobs and the Apple crew is the device known as the Macbook Air. It is currently the worlds lightest and thinnest notebook computer to day weighing in at 3 pounds and small enough to place inside of a traditional manila envelope.
It like most of appeals latest devices including the iPhone was created specifically for the Wi-Fi set who need to stay connected with out actually being plugged in to a cable.
This trend with other devices such as Blackberry, PSP, and Sidekick, etc. are apart of a new global initiative known as CLOUD COMPUTING.
How It All Works-
The concepts is actually quite simple and is in effect currently with plenty of end user applications.
It simply entails that instead of having your data stored locally on your computers hard drive, you can simply access the internet and have the actual location of the date reside on an off site server.
In “Less Technical” terms, when you may want to have a look at some of your favorite images for example, you may very well notice that a site such as Photobucket allows you to upload them to your profile and share them with others, which eliminates the need for storing them on your hard drive or perhaps a memory stick or some other form of external storage device.
So if you apply that to other things such as documents or even your email box, you will notice that the only thing needed is some form of a device that connects you to the internet, and if this device has wireless connection abilities, you can access the data from wherever you may be so long as you are in range of a wireless connection to the internet.

Google Inc. is also currently the leader in super computer technology as it has various data centers scattered around the globe in anticipation of this new initiative for the masses.
Microsoft and Yahoo are also heavy hitters in this arena, which many say is the reason behind Microsoft’s attempt to acquire Yahoo In, in an effort to compete with Google, who has been rumored to be in talks with Apple for a partnership in which Apple will produce the hardware devices, while Google will provide the back end computing infrastructure.
Simply put, all of this is set to HOUSE THE INFORMATION and RESOURCES into a CENTRALIZED location where users with any device that can access the web can gain access without the need of any of their data being stored locally.
So, in closing, once this is initiative is fully operational, which should be within the next five years , a centralized location for Live Entertainment( SHOWGIRLS) would also be an ideal solution, unless some form of technology is introduced which allows for users to experience life as they know it FULLY inside of THE WEB.
